Navarre traveled to Maryborough for their round nine clash against Royal Park, in the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League.

It was the Bushy’s annual Blue Ribbon game which honours the memory of police officers killed in the line of duty and several Navarre players were able to secure Blue Ribbon medals.
The 13 and under Navarre team played a tremendous game to win 38-2.
It was an all round team effort with Navarre producing a lead of 25 goals by half time.
Mem McSparron collected the Ladies Committee Award, Isabella Browne received the Subway voucher and Abbey Bibby took home the Chris ‘N Di’s voucher.
Browne also received the Blue Ribbon Award.
Navarre had a very strong win in the under 15 competition, 40-5, in a game where lots of positional changes were tried.
Great defending from Melita Squire and Nat Perry saw them receive the Gold Reef and Chris ‘N Di’s vouchers respectively.
Tayla Honeyman’s accuracy under the ring was also rewarded, receiving the Subwayvoucher but it was Squire who took home the Blue Ribbon Award.
In the 17 and under match, Navarre fought tirelessly, but unfortunately went down 32-12.
Royal Park commenced their game well and continued their dominance throughout the game.
Best players were Taige Weir who received the Gold Reef voucher and Tyra Dowsett won the Subway voucher.
Navarre C Grade came up against a strong and fast Royal Park side.
Navarre did their best to keep up with them, but went down 20-33.
Best players were Lori McKenny in defence, receiving the D&K Harrington glass and Subway voucher, and Elle Patterson was awarded the box of chocolates for her work in the goal circle.
Caitlin Kavanagh produced her best game for the season to receive the Inika voucher.
The B grade team were once again missing a couple of key players and this saw Anna Knights stepping up from the 17 and under to play an excellent game in wing defence, collecting the Subway voucher.
Unfortunately our girls couldn’t get over the line, going down 37-30.
Bek Seeary-Pye shot well after spending the last few weeks in defence and was rewarded for her efforts, collecting the D&K Harrington glass and Sneak a Peek voucher.
A Grade continued their dominance for the season and came away with an impressive 68 goal win.
With solid defensive pressure and lots of talk across the four quarters, the girls nearly reached triple figures, shooting a total of 92 goals.
Taylor Mason was on fire shooting 65 of those goals and was awarded the D&K Harrington glass and J&K Peacock $20.
Georgia McDermott and Sadie Slorach both produced solid games and collected the Inika and Subway vouchers respectively.
