After having last week off with the interleague round, Swifts will be looking to get on top early when they take on what coach Paul Hanns describes as an improved Rams team.
Swifts coach said Natimuk United will be a tough match up for them following the break.
"They will be a pretty tough side," Hanns said.
"We played them in a practice match early in the year and it was pretty close. We can't take this game or any game lightly."
When the two teams met earlier this year both Swifts and Natimuk were missing key players.
Simon Brealy, has been rated as one of the better players to play Wimmera Football and with him in charge of the Rams,Swifts will be expecting a hard hitting well drilled team.
"He is a pretty handy footballer," Hanns said.
"He is one of the better players I have played against and he will no doubt lift their team. Add him as the coach and I would expect an improvement from all of their players."
Swifts will also look to add strength to their side following their recent win over Jeparit Rainbow.
Josh Newton got through training on Tuesday night and was expected to undergo a fitness test last night.
If he got through last night's session he will be expected to play in the clash tomorrow.
Swifts have had a quiet couple of weeks on the track in the lead up to interleague, but were pushed through a difficult session last night.
Hanns and his coaching staff identified the key areas were they fell down in the opening six rounds and have started to rectify those issues at training.
"We really struggled with knowing what our roles were across the ground," Hanns said.
"We have worked on our structures and knowing our roles the last few training sessions so hopefully we can improve in that area."
Swifts will no doubt be stronger in the centre stoppages when they meet Natimuk, but Hanns still says they have work to do.
"We have changed up a couple of roles," Hanns said.
"We want to see some players sacrifice their game for mates to get the football."
Swifts interleague representatives Sean Mantell, Scott Carey and Damon Folkes will return to the Swifts colours after a strong showing in the Horsham District team that lost to the Central Highlands last weekend.
The Swifts Natimuk game will be played at the Natimuk Showgrounds with the first bounce scheduled for 2.20pm.
