In a rare occasion both Wimmera Football League and Horsham District League will play at the same venue and Wimmera are hoping to lead the way with a win.
Led by Louie Dalziel for a fifth time the Wimmera team will be raring to go and with a group of inform players they will be tough to beat.
"We are pretty happy with our team on paper," Dalziel said.
"You always think about the team you want, but sometimes it isn't that easy. This year we are pretty close to what we wanted."
Stawell Warriors David Morris, Brad Thomas and Scott Driscoll were all recognised as the Wimmera's best and will be looking forward to pulling on the Big W for the first time.
All three of these players have been in good form for Warriors and will be expecting some of that form to roll on.
Morris will start on a wing and rotate through the middle of the ground, while Thomas will start on the ball and rotate forward.
Driscoll has a more specific role to play in the back six.
Sam Williams was not named despite being impressive in his first senior interleague exposure last season.
"Sam did some really great things," Williams said.
"We are excited to see what he can achieve in the next couple of years at Wimmera level."
The Stawell players are just some of the new names to make their way into the interleague team that was able to defeat North Central last year.
"We have probably got seven or eight from last year playing again," Dalziel said.
"It is nice to keep some of the group together so they know what to expect."
Dalziel had a pretty clear image of what he wanted his squad to look like and versatility was a big thing for them.
"We really wanted players that could play in a multitude of positions," Dalziel said.
"We have plenty of strong in and under players and I think we will have probably 10 or 11 midfielders throughout the day."
Dalziel also put an emphasis on the players who have been in good form at club level.
"The players' current form really counted for a fair whack of selection," Dalziel said.
"It is okay to train well, but you need to be playing well on the weekend as well."
As a whole the Wimmera Football League is in good stead after a pretty even competition after five rounds.
With a strong competition the interleague team should be competitive tomorrow.
The Wimmera, Bellerine game will follow the Horsham District Football League, Central Highlands District Football League clash from 3.00pm at Horsham City Oval.
