The Wimmera Interclub is a competition between Nhill, Horsham, Warracknabeal and Stawell Photography Clubs. The competition has been running since 1990 and rotates between the clubs.
This year the Interclub is lucky to welcome Australian Photographic Society Fellow, Gaynor Robson, as judge and guest speaker. Gaynor loves all sorts of photography, particularly if it moves!
Gaynor is very active in International and National Photographic Salons. She has gained more than 100 awards, mainly internationally, including a Photographic Society of America Gold Medal.
Gaynor especially loves nature photography, particularly of birds in flight. Another love is overseas travel and Gaynor uses this as a rich source of photographs.
Gaynor has judged at many National Salons and is secretary of the Victoria Geelong Exhibition (VIGEX), which is Victoria's only International Salon.
The 140 prints entered in the competition form a very impressive exhibition.
Members of the public are invited to inspect the photographs in the exhibition which will be open from 10am this Sunday and if they wish, hear Gaynor speak in the afternoon.
The exhibition will be held in the Stawell Health and Community Centre and entry will be signposted. Admission is a gold coin.
