Warriors were forced to make changes to the team that took on Dimboola as the physicality of the match took its toll on the players.
Luke Hendy will be missing for the next four weeks after scans revealed damage to his AC joint.
Younger brother Kyle, who looked to be the worse of the two injuries initially, may get up for tomorrow's game, but was pushed through an intense fitness test last night.
Jackson Taurau will come back into the lineup after another week of Vic Country commitments.
Warriors have plenty of depth at the minute and with Brad Thomas in charge, there will be multiple senior players who need to earn their senior spot.
Thomas has not been one to shy away from confronting the Warriors players and isn't scared to make tough decision.
"The reserves and the under 17s are travelling really well at the minute," Thomas said.
"There are a couple of players who do all the right things and their effort is there, so if the senior players aren't performing they deserve a chance."
While the players were put on notice last night at training the game plan was also refined with plenty of work for the midfielders.
Thomas, who knew little of their upcoming opposition, asked his midfield group to stand up in tomorrow's game.
"Our midfield need to work harder than they did against Dimboola," Thomas said
"Our transition running isn't where it needs to be and that is why we can't get that scoreboard pressure."
Despite controlling the majority of every game they have played, Warriors have not been able to put the score on the board and that will be a big focus for the team tomorrow.
"We need to start making it hard for them like they do us," Thomas said.
"We need to up our pressure in our forward line and try to lock it in and get another shot at goal."
Brenton Potter lifted his intensity last weekend laying strong tackles and earning the ball back.
If other forwards can follow suit that will leave Stawell in good stead.
Minyip Murtoa will no doubt have a size advantage, but if Stawell can get their running game going they will be in for a good contest.
"I think we match up well against Minyip Murtoa, but we will just have to wait and see."
Stawell will travel to Minyip which will be their first away game in three weeks.
The game will start at 2.30pm.
