ONCE Landsborough couple, Gary and Janeane Edwards, heard about the achievements of Cameron Bowman, they wanted to make a small contribution to this once in a lifetime opportunity for him, travelling to Gallipoli for Anzac Day.

Gary and Janeane chose something they felt appropriate travelling to somewhere cold - a scarf and beanie.
"No doubt Cameron was selected from a top class field of applicants and after meeting Cameron we're sure he's one exceptional young man," Gary and Janeane said.
"We trust he will gain a great deal from his trip to Gallipoli for the ceremony to mark one hundred years since the Australians landed there."
Gary Edwards served in Vietnam as did Cameron's father, as well as their respective grandfathers and great grandfathers in WWI. Those two similarities form a unique bond that is hoped will continue when Cameron returns to Stawell later this month.
"We will endeavour to follow his aspirations of a career in the Australian Army, which no doubt, he will make every success of and wish him all good things in the future," Gary and Janeane said.
