Losing just the under 13s and B grade for the day, Navarre were off to a slow start, but certainly improved from there.
The under 13s netball went down in a close encounter, 10-12.
Each player put in 100 per cent, but it was Sam Kelleher and Talyra Bibby who won the Ladies Committee award, while Sophie Bibby received the Subway voucher.
The under 15s got off to a solid start and never looked back, coming away with a convincing win, 22-13.
In a very good team performance, Ruby Bibby received the Gold Reef voucher and Georgia Bibby received the Subway award.
The under 17s started slowly, but key positional changes at the first break saw a more even second quarter.
In an exciting last quarter, the girls came from behind to win the game, 23-21.
Tyra Dowsett played an excellent game receiving the Gold Reef voucher and Ebony Summers received the Subway voucher for her great shooting.
C Grade were competitive and will be a force in the coming weeks. Unfortunately the side went down 22-28.
Gena Hannett was everywhere on the court for the team, receiving the D&K Harrington glass and voucher, while captain Elle Patterson received the Inika voucher for her tremendous shooting.
B Grade fought hard, but unfortunately with a lapse in the second quarter, the side went down 28-37.
Best for the day went to Caitlyn Baird for her strong defensive game, receiving the D&K Harrington glass and Subway voucher.
Shae Hannett received the Inika voucher for her great running across mid-court.
A grade had an incredible win, 62-22.
The defensive pressure across court was outstanding which caused many turnovers for Carisbrook.
Best for the day went to Sophie Flood who received the D&K Harrington glass and voucher and Jess Williamson received the Subway voucher.
Roslyn Comitti, Navarre Netball Club president, thanked all the volunteers for getting the new court ready for the opening round.
Navarre will travel to Maryborough on Anzac Day to compete against the Rovers in round two.
