Charlemagne's Girl landed her first win at her home track in front of a large crowd, pleasing her connections.
Adding to the excitement connections received an additional $20,000 VOBIS Gold bonus.
The four year old mare had been knocking on the door of her first win, having recorded three seconds and a third from her nine starts, but Noonan never thought she would win so convincingly.
"There wasn't any speed in the race, she was just trotting," Noonan said.
"I would have liked to have sat off the leaders, but Dean (Yendall)knows best so he pushed her forward. In the finish she was just too good for them."
Noonan praised the efforts of Yendall who recorded his first of four wins on board Charlemagne's girl.
"He is a good jockey, but that is why they are good jockeys," he said.
"They work out the situation and go from there," Noonan said.
While Noonan thinks his horse will probably stay around the country circuit there are plans to run in the VOBIS Gold restricted race.
"There is a quarter of a million dollar race at Caufield that if we can run in it, we will," Noonan said.
"It is restricted for VOBIS Gold horses which she is and because it is a restricted race it is worth having a crack at if we can get in it."
Noonan and his partner Jacquie Joiner share the training duties, but the quiet horse gives them no troubles.
Charlemagnes's Girl led the way from I'll Excite and Paul Jones trained first starter, Samer's Atom.
