A RANDOM intercept by members of Stawell police resulted in four people being arrested for drug offences on Thursday morning.

The divisional van members intercepted a car travelling on the Western Highway in Stawell at around 1.40am.
After speaking to the driver, a 38-year-old man and his female passenger, both from Horsham, police conducted a search of the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle resulted in police allegedly locating a large amount of cash and drugs.
The pair were arrested and conveyed to Stawell for interview.
While at the police station the investigating members made further inquiries which indicated that a buyer for the drugs was waiting at Ballarat.
Ballarat police were contacted and a man aged 38, and a 32-year-old woman, both from Melbourne, were arrested and interviewed in relation to drug offences.
A 38-year-old Horsham man has been released on police bail to attend the Horsham Magistrate's Court on 21 April charged with use and possess a drug of dependence and possess proceeds of crime.
Three other people have been interviewed in relation to possess a drug of dependence and are expected to be charged on summons.
