The Clubbers were required to outright Chalambar in the final regular game of the season to make their way to second spot of the ladder.
Second spot see's them take on Aradale in one of the two cut throat finals this weekend, while Swifts Great Western will meet Buangor.
Youth Club had already bowled themselves into a comfortable position after day one and defending a total of 233 they were always in control.
Chalambar were bundled out for a disappointing 55 in the first innings and unfortunately things didn't improve as the day went on.
Steve LeGassick was outstanding with the ball taking eight wickets for just 19 runs from 10 overs.
Chalambar's Matt McKinnis and Daniel Gibson were the best of the batsmen with 15 runs each.
In their second innings early wickets fell and Chalambar lost hope as they were all out for 79 runs.
After two innings Chalambar were still 99 runs behind Youth Club's first inning total.
Cam Kimber took charge of the second innings taking five wickets for 12 runs while Legassick backed his 8/19 up with 3/37.
Luke Walker made 43 runs down the order, but needed more support.
The out right loss is Chalambar's third in what has been a disappointing season.
It was their first season in the top division and they were held winless for the entire season.
Aradale caused a big upset defeating top placed Swifts Great Western based on their first innings.
Aradale put a big score on the board on day one as the Combine were chasing 236.
With players away the Combined looked to have put the cue in the rack before they got started.
Early wickets fell and there was no fight back resulting in Ararale dismissing Swifts Great Western for 99 runs.
Sam Cocks made a valuable 38 runs, but he was the only player to fire.
Matthew Stasse claimed three wickets to be the leading wicket taker while Tyler Cronin was also effective taking 2/11.
The win for Aradale had no effect on the final standings.
Swifts Great Western will have plenty to think about ahead of their final with Buangor with key bowlers still unavailable.
Tatyoon finished their season with two consecutive wins defeating Pomonal in a two day match that was reduced to one day.
Tatyoon opted to bat first and their decision was proven to be a good one as they made 175 runs.
Led by Michael Harricks who made 63 runs, Tatyoon were not guaranteed a win, but it was a decent total to defend.
Andrew McDougall chipped in with 32 helping the cause.
In reply Pomonal managed just 158 runs with Matt Grinham impressing with 30 runs.
In terms of bowling Tatyoon's Ashley Maconachie boasted the best bowling figures taking four wickets for 27 runs.
The round of cricket wraps up what has been a long season for several of the clubs in the A grade division.
Tatyoon, Pomonal and Chalambar will put their whites away as they turn their focus to football.
