Northern Grampians Shire Council has extended an invitation to residents of Halls Gap and the wider community to attend the function at 3pm, at the Halls Gap Community Hub.
Council has appointed a team to undertake the project of developing a new master plan for Halls Gap. The group is examining future commercial investment and public land development opportunities in Halls Gap.
The team is being led by Jan van Schaik, director of MvS Architects and includes a team of economists and planners from SGS Economics and Planning and the renowned curator Maudie Palmer, A0.
The team has conducted background research, a number of discussions with key stakeholders and run a design workshop in collaboration with a sample of the Halls Gap community.
The result of these workshops will be presented in large printed format to the community for feedback at the barbecue at the Halls Gap Community Hub on Sunday,
Representatives from council, the team and members of the community involved in the design workshops will be available on the day to engage in discussion around the proposals and collect feedback from the broader community.
