The Stawell YMCA Vacation Care program came to a very active end with children taking part in a day of sports.
With a barbecue lunch provided they enjoyed a day of games including gymnastics, swimming, netball, basketball and soccer.
A day earlier the participants took things a little easier with a somewhat messy morning activity that involved creating their own t-shirt designs.
That afternoon they relaxed with access to electronics and a movie.
It was a creative final week of the two week program with children taking part in some weaving, cave painting and recycled wind chimes. They were also given the opportunity to make a musical instrument and bird feeder.
The Stawell Neighbourhood House and Central Grampians Local Learning Employment Network (LLEN) January school holiday program also wrapped up with children between the ages of six and 12 taking some time to chill out.
For a cost of nothing they were given the opportunity to play table tennis, pool, electronic gaming device Wii and Air Hockey.
The program came to a close with an activity that allowed teenagers between the ages of 12 and 18 to use a computer to create their own design and then laser print it onto a t-shirt.
Over a period of two weeks school aged children enjoyed many activities including plaster fun, cooking and jewellery making.
