Youth Club constructed a good total last week, making 183 which leaves the contest in the balance this weekend.
While several of the Youth Club batsmen got starts, only Jamie Solyom went on to make a big score, eventually being dismissed for 57 runs.
Having already made a start Aradale will be hoping Andrew and Riley Wood can get themselves in for a second time and occupy the crease for a large portion of the innings.
Runs were hard to come by in the first innings which could see Aradale lose patience and start looking for bigger shots.
Defending a decent total on a wicket where runs are difficult to score, will allow the Youth Club bowlers to have an attacking mindset from the first delivery.
Travis Horvatek has been in good form with the bat and will be needed again tomorrow if Aradale is to chase down Youth Club's total.
If Youth Club can dismiss Aradale for less than 183 their positions on the ladder will change and Youth Club will move into third.
Pomonal will have their work cut out when they start their first innings against Swifts Great Western.
The Combine batted all day and did it with ease as they produced one of the biggest totals of this season to date.
Scoring 322 for the loss of just seven wickets, Swift Great Western dominated proceedings and on the back of that performance, would be expected to take outright points.
If they are to take a maximum ten points from the round, it will be just the second time they have done so this year.
Tom Eckel led all scorers after smashing 71 runs in a short period of time and will look to take that confidence into his first bowling spell.
On the opposite side of the spectrum Lee Oliver bowled well, taking three wickets and will want to make an impression with the bat.
Swifts Great Western are already well clear on the ladder and with an outright win, they will move even further ahead.
Buangor will be hot on the heels of Swifts Great Western as they chase their second outright win against Chalambar.
Buangor dismissed their opposition for a mere 120 runs and were able to lead by the end of day one.
Buangor lost three wickets in their 31 overs, but managed to completely wipe of the deficit.
Buangor currently leads by 10 runs, but will no doubt extend their lead and send Chalambar back in.
Jack Ganley is the key wicket for both teams as he will continue to build on his innings of 68 not out.
Josh Bywater was the best of the Chalambar bowlers, finishing with figures of 1/12 and he will be looking for early wickets tomorrow to wrap up the Buangor innings.
