Crowe Horwath were able to take victory over their second placed opposition by seven sets after getting off to a blistering start.
They went out onto the court on a mission as they took the ascendancy early, winning 10 out of the first 15 sets contested.
Crowe Horwath continued their form through the mixed sets to make it a comprehensive win.
In what was a great team effort as Kim Hutton, Mitch Collins, Angus Williams and Courtney Mcllvride stood out with undefeated nights.
For Cassidy Painting captain Howard Dunn provided the greatest resistance as he won his three sets.
Frewstal did enough to take the points in their match against Tyrepower with an 11 game win.
Early games were again the difference with Frewstal leading by 11 games after the regulation doubles matches.
Frewstal were able to hold on to their lead to secure the victory with Farrer's unable to bridge the gap.
Jenny Stevens, Babette Stewart and Cody Effert were solid players for Frewstal, while Farrer's men were a standout for their team.
Brian O'Shannessy, Ben Martin, Richard Dodds and Cameron Hancock were all in top form, but were unable to get their team across the line.
Friday night tennis will heat up when they return from their Christmas break in a couple of weeks.
While Stawell Toyota are well out in front anything could happen between the bottom four teams.
