Board Chair, Roger Warne said reaching 60 years was a great milestone for the aged care facility.
"The founders of Eventide would be extremely proud of what we have achieved," he said.
"Many people over the years including staff, volunteers, supporters, residents, employees and visitors have all contributed to its success today."
Reflecting on what he called a 'year of consolidation', Mr Warne said Eventide has strived to pay back debts to the government as well as renovate and maintain existing buildings.
"Our bed count is now at 100 due to the opening of our memory support/high dependency wing Warne House, a facility which sets a benchmark for other aged care facilities," he said.
"Scoping works have also begun on the new two bedroom stand-alone units on site at Eventide, as has construction on the new parking block.
"Also on our 'to do list' is a design brief to improve our front entrance, which may include the relocation of administration.
"Over at The Plantation independent living, another unit was built and the landscaping and surrounds at the estate improved."
Eventide's profile was in the spotlight this year when staff members Leeanne Nuske and Andrea Monaghan raised funds while on a pilgrimage in Spain.
"While speaking of staff, I cannot speak too highly of the professionalism, dedication and in particular the friendliness of all of our 100-strong team," Mr Warne said.
"They are the lifeblood and key to Eventide and I am extremely proud of them."
