Youth Club would have had plenty to think about during the week heading into their match against Pomonal after they were in control of the match against Buangor and let it slip.
The Clubbers bowled respectably to dismiss Buangor, but failed with the bat and if they are to get the job done tomorrow against Pomonal, that is one thing that will need to change.
Ethan Marrow is due to perform in the premier division after just the one big score for the year in C grade.
If Youth Club are to get a substantial partnership at the top of the order, the game could be over quickly as their bowling firepower would be expected to take care of Pomonal's batting line up.
Pomonal could also use a partnership at the top to limit the work of captain and allrounder Lee Oliver, who comes in at number seven.
Swifts/Great Western will like their chances as they head to Tatyoon to take on the reigning premiers.
Having already defeated Tatyoon at home, the Combine will have plenty of confidence in Sam Cocks, James Devery and Travis Nicholson to make a big score, before their bowlers get them across the line.
After playing B grade last weekend, Craig Marrow will be a likely inclusion into the A grade side.
Matt Delzotto also contributed in B grade with a knock of 52 and may see his name in the A grade line up as well.
Tatyoon will rely on their usual contributors, particularly allrounder Tim McDougall.
McDougall is coming off an impressive performance against Aradale and will be required to be at his best again tomorrow.
Swifts Great Western will still be riding high though after their outright last week saw them jump to equal top of the ladder with Buangor.
Buangor will be in for another tight contest when they take on Aradale.
Aradale batted well to defeat Tatyoon last weekend and will be looking to emulate that tomorrow.
Buangor bowled well to dismiss Youth Club and take the points, but they were less than impressive with the bat.
Harry and Jack Ganley continue to dominate for Buangor and if they can be dismissed cheaply, it will go a long way towards Aradale causing an upset.
Chalambar has finished cricket for the year and will need to regroup over the Christmas period.
B grade began their Christmas break one week earlier and won't be playing this weekend.
