Horsham was able to open a strong lead in the men's and ladies games by quarter time and although Stawell showed signs of improvement, they were out of their depth.
A 32-3 first quarter to the Hornets men saw the confidence of the Wildcats drop.
Tim Picket and Tim Friend pounced on the opportunity as they has 10 and 12 points respectively by the first break.
Horsham's hot shooting continued in the second quarter, adding another 20 points as Stawell added 13.
Joel Freeland was the leading scorer for the Wildcats with 11 points. However, with four Horsham players in doubles figures he needed more support.
Picket finished with a game high 29 points, while Damien Skurrie scored 20 and Friend 19.
Friend was playing his last CBL game for the Hornets as he is moving up north.
In the finish Hornets began toying with their opposition, performing trick shots, shooting long threes and even the perfect touch to complete several tip ins.
Stawell was limited in its bench towards the end of the game as big men Michael Hackwill and Matt Bourke both fouled out.
Wildcats coach Ben Leslie was disappointed with the final result, but there was little he or his players could do as they went down 107-40.
"They are a very good team," Leslie said.
"That is probably the strongest team we have had to go up against.
"They do the basics well and we had no answers. As much as it is a little embarrassing you give credit where credit is due."
Stawell Lady Wildcats were not much better going down by 51 points.
It was the second quarter that Hornets did most of the damage outscoring Stawell 28-4.
Grace Bibby top scored with 14 points for Wildcats with Janelle Chisholm the next best with five.
Rhi Davis had the opportunity to coach from the sidelines for the first time as she recovered from surgery.
"It was so frustrating knowing what we can do, but not showing it," Davis said.
"It is frustrating because I know we can do better. The third quarter we picked it up and played like we should have."
Both men and women's teams will travel to Mount Gambier tomorrow night in their last game for 2014.
Last time they met, the men challenged Mount Gambier Lakers for the first three quarters, but with a lack of numbers this week, the result may be blown out.
The ladies will also be in for a tough match. If they don't bring their best basketball the game could be over by quarter time.
