The O'Sullivans were the first to salute, winning the Brix Hotel Three Year Old Maiden Plate with Amity Val.
Jack Hill was on board Amity Val in the opening event and he continued his success as the day progressed.
Amity Val has run well at her previous starts and wasn't disgraced when she was tried in Melbourne.
Stable Foreman Jade Kennedy said the horse has been running well without getting the results and a win at Stawell was important for her development.
"It was a pretty good day for our stables," Kennedy said.
"We had plenty of horses running and a couple of our riders were also there."
Hill has done some track work with the three year old filly and knows the horse and how she performs.
"Jack really knows how to get her going," Kennedy said.
"He rides accordingly and more often than not that gets results."
Amity Val had plenty of work to do turning into the home straight, but was able to pass her rivals and win by a length.
Amity Val will go up in distance when she runs again at Sandown on Boxing Day.
Already Taken followed suit, winning the Grampians Excavations and Soil Yard Benchmark 64 Handicap.
The four year old gelding hit the line hard to hold off the fast finishing Happy Valentine, which was ridden by Stawell apprentice Chelsea Hall.
Already Taken has had just two starts since a 19 week spell.
"Jack rode him perfect," Kennedy said.
"He wants a bit further so Jack got him going early."
Kennedy said the time in the paddock has helped him with his maturity and all involved were happy with how he came back.
Already Taken will venture to Moonee Valley on December 27.
