While there was no ridiculous mountain to climb or an extended marathon to conquer, Ryan along with others around town, have done their best to promote men's health through growing a moustache.
For many it is as simple as growing a mo to create awareness, but for some it is creating events and selling items to raise funds.
Ryan's goal at the start of November was to have a Mo or a Mo Sister in each business across the Wimmera and while that goal hasn't been met, there have been plenty of upsides.
"This year I wanted to really put a focus on the community and group participation. That is why I started the Wimmera Project," Ryan said.
"It gives people who would normally grow solo, the chance to join a team and enjoy growing in a team environment."
The Wimmera Project has 69 registered people, all passionate about Movember and changing the face of men's health.
"To be totally honest I have been blown away by the support of the Mo Sisters," Ryan said.
"Early in the campaign there were more Mo Sisters registered than Mo Bros growing."
Each year more people are realising that men's health isn't a topic that is spoken about as openly as others.
Movember has created a fun way of raising that awareness by physically changing the face of men's health by growing a moustache.
Ryan has been involved with the Movember Foundation for six years. This year, he has been given a Mo Mini Cooper for the month of November, which Stawell residents may have seen around town.
"I can't thank Mini Australia and Movember enough for giving me the Mo Mini," Ryan said.
"It has been such a positive tool for spreading the word. It has been a billboard on wheels."
Last week students from Stawell Secondary College and Stawell West Primary School had the opportunity to have their picture taken with the Mo Mini as they took part in a casual clothes day to raise money.
As of Monday the Wimmera Movember Project cracked $10,000 worth of donations.
Ryan has decided to celebrate by hosting a gala party tomorrow night in the form of a dinner and dress up night at Lillies at Lattes.
NO Plans will be playing on the night along with a DJ on the back deck. There will be a Man of Movember and Miss Movember award as well as some prizes on the night for best dressed.
The dinner will start at 6.00pm at Lillies and Lattes.
