Youth Club has started the season well with two wins from two games as well as a bye.
Steve LeGassick has been in good form with the bat and the ball especially against Aradale.
LeGassick took four wickets for 21 runs and contributed 34 runs of his own as an opening batsman.
Captain Jamie Solyom was also in good touch unbeaten on 49.
Youth Club's new recruit Pete Barnett will create some uneasy batting for Swifts/Great Western as he moves the ball on the turf wicket.
The Combine will need their top order to perform well to make enough runs for their bowlers to defend.
Marc Brilliant is coming off a good game after he took three wickets for just two runs.
Brilliant bowled six overs, four of which were maidens, to be their best bowler.
Gary Ranton also bowled well with two wickets for two runs and five maidens.
If Youth Club are to lose this weekend every team in the competition will have lost at least once.
GCA officials would like the results so far with a more even competition than expected.
Pomonal will need to make more than the 89 runs they managed in their innings against Swifts/ Great Western if they are to be competitive against Chalambar.
Chalambar are still looking for their first win in the premier competition and were only slightly better than Pomonal in their match against Buangor.
Chalambar scored just 93 runs and were well beaten on the day.
Pomonal's opening batsman Matt Grinham will want to improve his batting after failing to trouble the scorers last week.
Grinham was not on his own with a batting duck with five others failing to impact the score.
Pomonal's top order never looked comfortable as Buangor's Harry Ganley tore through their lineup.
Chalambar took just one wicket in their 17 overs in the field and that will need to improve if they are to be in with a chance against Pomonal.
It is early days in the season, but a win for both Pomonal and Chalambar is important to get their season on the right track.
Tatyoon had the bye last weekend, but will be looking to take the points when they meet Buangor this weekend.
Buangor defeated Chalambar convincingly thanks largely to the Ganley brothers.
Harry and Jack have been in excellent form with bat and ball so far this season and will need to continue down that path tomorrow.
Tatyoon's Ash Maconachie and Darren Beer will open the batting and hopefully put a decent score on the board, while John Butler is expected to shoulder the workload of the bowling attack and make a couple of runs down the order.
Aradale will have their first bye of the season and currently sit in fourth place on the ladder.
They have had two wins against Buangor and Pomonal and suffered their first loss last weekend to Youth Club.
