Thirty-five children will showcase their wares in several categories to be contested at the event to be held from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
The categories include sprint and flat packing, endurance racing, presentations and the ability to navigate obstacle courses.
Some of the students benefited from a visit by representatives of some of their many sponsors last week.
Representatives from Northern Grampians Shire Council, Stawell Gold Mines, Specsavers and Choices Flooring by Westside called in to discuss the annual Pushcart Challenge and inspect some of the pushcarts that will be in action tomorrow.
Stawell West Primary School conducts the Pushcart Challenge each year for grades five and six students, in the lead up to the RACV Energy Breakthrough Challenge in Maryborough.
In the past major sponsors of the Pushcart Challenge have assisted students with the construction and modification of carts for both challenges.
Teams strive hard to win the Pushcart Challenge each year, so they can qualify to represent the school in the annual Energy Breakthrough Challenge at Maryborough - A very demanding but rewarding challenge for the students.
The Pushcart Challenge is scheduled for tomorrow at the front of the school in Cooper Street, with the Energy Breakthrough Challenge being held over the weekend of November 22-23.
