The brothers both scored half centuries to steer Buangor into a winning position against the Combine, who only a week earlier, had upset reigning premier Tatyoon.
Buangor won the toss and elected to field and struck an early blow with the wicket of Sam Cocks for just seven runs.
Craig Marrow made his way to the middle of Alexandra Oval and like last week, put runs on the board in quick time.
Marrow was able to steady the ship down one end while the carnage continued down the other.
Devery, taking the back seat in the partnership, was next to depart with nine runs and Travis Nicholson followed shortly after.
Some confusion between Marrow and Jackson Dark led to Dark being run out. However, with Marrow making 81 runs and Tom Eckel hitting up 13 at the end, the Combine bowlers had something to defend.
Chasing 137 Buangor came out firing early, but the opening partnership was soon broken.
When Shaun Allen departed, Buangor looked in trouble at 2/25.
That was when Jack and Harry Ganley came together and with a mountain of work to do, the pair began to chip away at the deficit.
Harry Ganley was first to reach his half century and when Jack Ganley reached the milestone shortly after, Buangor was home.
Buangor was able to complete the run chase in just 30 overs.
Chalambar fell victim to Tatyoon, as the reigning premier bounced back from their first round loss.
Chalambar batted first and looked good early, as each of their top order batsmen got a start.
With almost 100 runs on the board the bowlers were required to make a contribution, but were unable to do so.
Andrew Ward took just 11 deliveries to clean up the tail end, finishing with figures of 3/3.
Tatyoon needed 27.5 overs to make the total with new recruit John Butler hitting up 26 runs.
Luke Walker was the shining light for Chalambar, claiming 7/32 from his seven overs.
Aradale were too strong for Pomonal in their match at Central Park.
Jon Pollock gave Pomonal a good start with an impressive knock of 38.
Sam Spark and John Johnston each made 19 runs, but other than that, there was little consistency in the Pomonal score card.
Aradale completed the chase in style with allrounder Matthew Stasse impressive again with the bat, hitting up 37 runs, while Riley Wood went one better with 38.
Lee Oliver's 3/30 was the best bowling figures for Pomonal.
Youth Club batsman Ethan Marrow continues to show good form and lining up for C grade on Saturday, he hit up 106 runs before retiring against Buangor.
