It was a tough season for the Warriors A graders, but Maddi Jelly shone bright starting from the first round.
Stawell players and guests were on the edge of their seat for the vote count with Jelly winning by one vote to Liza Cook.
Jelly started the season well with a solid performance in the teams opening round win over Minyip Murtoa.
Jelly then took a back seat for a couple of weeks before finding white hot form midway through the season.
It was then that she was able to poll in six of seven games.
It was Jelly's first season back at the club after a short stint out at Navarre.
Jelly finished the vote count on 32 votes while prominent goal shooter Cook finished on 31.
Not far behind on 29 votes was Lisa Fleming who continues to develop and improve with the more netball she plays.
First year player Nadia Bunge was awarded the coaches award after she finished the year strongly.
In B grade it was league runner up Jodie Hendy who took top honours ahead of Tracey Dark.
Hendy finished well clear on 47 votes after polling in every round bar three and 14.
Dark was runner up with 28 votes for her year in defence and Jemima Bibby was the best of the goalies with 22 votes.
In C grade Mel Jardine was the best and fairest ahead of friend and defensive partner Christine Graveson.
Jardine had a consistent season polling 35 votes to lead Graveson by 14.
Carlia Byron took home the coach's award.
In the juniors, Wimmera League representative Meg Walker finished with 44 votes taking home the trophy from Jordan Austin who polled 33.
Walker polled well throughout the season and even polled in several games in the A grade, capping off a great year.
Darcie Jelly was the coach's award recipient while Dana Humphrey was the most improved.
Natasha Reading's 51 votes was enough to see her over the line in the under 15 A grade section.
Reading finished 11 votes clear of runner up Abbi Nellthorp who reached 40 votes.
Reading and Nellthorp were well clear of the rest of the team.
The coach's award for the under 15 A grade went to Gabrielle McGuckian.
Kasey Bibby Rickard was the best in the under 15 B grade in a much tighter finish.
Bridget McGuckian came home strongly with five votes in the last round, but it wasn't enough with Bibby Rickard finishing on 44 votes and McGuckian on 37.
Coach's award went to Amber Fry.
Kasey Mornane polled in every round except for one to take out the under 13 best and fairest by a large margin.
Mornane finished on 49 votes with the closest to her on 29.
Tessa O'Callaghan was runner up while Amber Fry took home the coach's award.
