Minister for Sport and Recreation Damian Drum has announced more than $27,000 in Victorian Coalition Government funding for the project.
Speaking at the Navarre Recreation Reserve, Mr Drum said the funding will be made available through the latest round of the Country Football and Netball Program.
"The Coalition Government is committed to a more active Victoria and we recognise the importance of sporting clubs and their facilities in achieving that goal," he said.
"Recently the Navarre netballers have been struggling to play on an ageing court surface that doesn't meet Netball Australia standards.
"This project will resurface and reconfigure an existing court providing a safer surface for players and umpires and will open up the reserve to more netball training and competition.
"The Country Football and Netball Program is our $10 million partnership with the AFL, AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria to upgrade and replace football and netball facilities throughout Victorian country and outer metropolitan areas.
"The Napthine Coalition understands regional sporting clubs and we're proud to invest in projects like these that assist clubs to develop quality facilities to ensure better access and sports opportunities for all."
Mr Drum thanked funding partners Northern Grampians Shire Council for providing more than $9,000 and the Navarre Football Netball Club for contributing $4,500 to the project.
