WILDFLOWERS will once again be in full bloom throughout the Grampians with the seventy sixth annual Wildflower Show taking place at the Flora Botanic Garden in Halls Gap.

The return of the Wildflower Show will be held on the first weekend of October - Saturday, October 4 to Sunday, October 5, 9am. to 5pm.
Famed for its spring wildflowers, Victorians are encouraged to visit the picturesque Grampians and enjoy the display of flowers picked from private properties and from the National Park (under the strict conditions of permits).
Following a break in 2013, the 2014 Grampians Wildflower Show is back with a variety of activities for the entire family to take part in, including wildflower displays arranged in the charming Botanic Garden, together with an in-ground collection.
Also in the garden, marquees will house educational displays about the habitats and environments wildflowers grow in as well as expert plant identification help.
There will be a native orchid display at MOCO gallery, 481 Grampians Rd (near Lake Bellfield)
A Parks Victoria and Friends of Grampians Gariwerd display will celebrate the 30th birthday of the Grampians National Park
Demonstrations will be conducted by resident artist Lynn Stone as she creates exquisite embroidered native flowers
A wildflower themed art display will be featured throughout the town of Halls Gap and a variety of flower walks, drives and guided tours.
Visitors can relax over a Devonshire tea and browse the displays in the Centenary Hall.
The Australian Plant Society at nearby Pomonal are holding their show on the same weekend, which makes for a perfect visit to this end of the Grampians.
An entry ticket of $4 for adults and free for children will give people entry to each of the displays together with a map showing where the displays can be found.
