Demons coach Brad Hartigan and skipper Jeremy Hartigan were forced to play some game time in second half after they both sustained injuries last weekend in their preliminary final against Warracknabeal.
Saints forward Gavin Kelm, who had been in dangerous form in the first half continued on his way in the second.
Kelm was able to produce three goals of varying nature in the third term to single handedly give Saints a chance.
His first goal of the quarter was a snap shot after a free kick, while the second he drilled home from 40 metres and the third followed a contested mark where he out muscled two Demon defenders.
Saints went into the final change up beat, leading by 11 points.
In the final term Joel Geue and coach Jordyn Burke found goals early to see the lead back in the Demons favour.
Kelm hit back, with a long kick that looked certain to be his 10th goal of the match, but Ben Lakin took the mark on the line saving what was a certain goal.
Geue put the icing on the cake towards the end of the final term kicking his second goal for the quarter.
Demons defeated the Saints by six points and the devastation for Saints and jubilation of Demons filled a packed Central Park. The final score was 12.10.82 to 11.10.76.
