Dark is in her 22nd consecutive season with the Warriors and after being granted life membership of Stawell in 2007 this award was sure to follow.
Over her colourful career Dark has been involved with one club and one club alone.
The Stawell Warriors Football/Netball Club are forever thankful to Dark whose willingness and passion for the game and the club in general is truly amazing.
In her time at Stawell she has been a player, coach, umpire, committee member, trainer and at the very least a mentor for the young up and coming netballers.
Dark's career on court has matched her off court honours having won the Wimmera Netball Association League best and fairest in 2001.
She also represented the WNA in the Melbourne State titles in 2002 and at Swan Hill in the same year.
Over her 15 years of playing she has spent the majority in the A grade team however, dropped back to play two seasons with her daughter Ashleigh and is enjoying her season in B grade this year.
Dark will line up this Saturday in the Wimmera Netball B grade final in front of her home crowd.
Any football or netball club would be fortunate to have Dark in their ranks.
She is the heart and soul of the Stawell Warriors Football/Netball Club and it is pleasing to all involved to see Dark as a life member of the league.
