The grants program has helped fund events including the Stawell Mother's Day Classic, Stawell Regional Health's Half Marathon and the Marnoo Merino Field Day.
It has also assisted the Stawell Red Garters to purchase a plaque for a Red Cross Rose that was planted at Central Park to commemorate 100 years of the organisation.
In addition, Navarre's Thomas Hannett received funding to travel to Cairns to compete in a football carnival.
Mayor Cr Kevin Erwin said council's Minor Grants Program funded one-off specific projects to the value of $500.
"Our minor grants are designed to assist groups and individuals with various projects, events and activities," he said.
"This program is beneficial as it helps to fund important initiatives that may not meet the criteria of our other grants programs, including Youth, Arts and Culture, and Community.
"Council is proud to be able to assist our communities and enjoy seeing these great projects and events come to fruition as a result of this funding."
