Waerea-Hargreaves was placed on report for a high tackle on Penrith's Brent Kite which left Kite dazed, but the Roosters big man was found to have no case to answer.
The news wasn't as good for North Queensland back-rower Tariq Sims whose Cowboys' career could end on the sidelines after he was hit with a grade three shoulder charge which could see him banned for seven weeks if he fights the ban and loses. An early guilty plea will see him suspended for five games. The Cowboys face the Roosters on Friday night in a sudden-death semi-final at Allianz Stadium.
Watmough faces a one game ban for a dangerous throw on Greg Inglis. He could be banned for two games if he fights the charge and loses. Teammate Jaime Lyon won't spend any times on the sideline with an early guilty plea for his part in the same tackle. The Sea Eagles clash with Canterbury on Saturday night in another do-or-die clash.
Ben Barba's dangerous contact charge won't see him miss a game for Brisbane next year.
