HORSHAM Demons have won through to the Wimmera Football League grand final for the eleventh time in twelve seasons, however this year they were pushed to their limits.

Demons got away to an early lead and dominated for the first three quarters of football, but Warracknabeal never looked out of the match.
Nic Pekin was at his usual best from the first bounce kicking three majors for Demons in the first quarter.
The Eagles kept within reaching distance trailing by 22 points at three quarter time.
At the final break coach Tim Inkster asked his players to stand up and in the final term they did just that.
Pekin limped off in the opening minutes of the quarter to join Billy Lloyd who had injured his ankle, on the bench.
Brad Hartigan also made his way to the bench injured and as the Demons men continued to fall a comeback for Warracknabeal seemed possible.
The Eagles took advantage of the wounded Demons and through goals from Jack Wilson and Ben Spicer they were within three kicks.
A fifty metre penalty from Rhona Conboy put Tim Inkster on the goal line and the margin was within two points.
Warracknabeal had opportunities to take the lead and Horsham had the chance to seal it the pressure got to both teams.
Horsham were able to hold on to win by a narrow two points margin.
The final score was Horsham winning 12.18.90 to Warracknabeal 12.16.88.
Best players for Horsham were Nathan Kelly, Jordyn Burke, Nic Pekin, and Brad Hartigan, while for Warracknabeal captain Benjamin Harrison was a clear best on ground.
Harrison was followed by Peter Wier and Jake Peters.
Horsham will now meet cross town rivals Horsham Saints in the 2014 Wimmera Football League grand final at Stawell's Central Park on Saturday.
Horsham will have just six days to recover their sore bodies , while the Saints will be feeling fresh after the week off.
Stawell Warriors will be in action with the under 17 and under 14 football teams and the B and C grade netball teams all playing in Wimmera League grand finals.
