SWIFTS netballers had a tough day out in their encounters against Harrow Balmoral in the Horsham District Netball League last Saturday.

The only winning teams on the day were the Mods and the 15 and under team.
The Mods was a close contest and Swifts won out by a slender one goal margin.
It was a close contest throughout with the Swifts youngsters being pushed for the first time this season before finally winning out 10-9.
Award winners were Miranda Holden (Halls Gap Zoo), Keearna Holden (Subway) and Molly Orr (McDonalds).
After a strong start Swifts 15 and unders never looked back and won out 24-10.
Defensive pressure from the team was complemented by the accuracy from the goal shooters. Jorja Folkes took out the Raunchy Rooster award and Jessie Cowen the Subway award.
Swifts under 13s came close but fell short losing out 12-14 against the Harrow Balmoral opposition.
The Swifts youngsters were down by just one goal at half time, but Harrow made the break in the third term to set up the win.
Award winners for Swifts were Chantelle and Olivia Barber.
In the under 17 clash Harrow had control early and ran out winners 34-19.
Taryn Wynd in the centre worked hard with her intercepts, while Brodie Winton did well working to shut down her wing attack opponent.
All Swifts senior teams suffered losses, the only close contest being in the C Reserve clash.
Swifts were just two goals down at half time, but a 10 goal third term from Harrow Balmoral changed the match and despite Swifts hitting back in the final term they lost out 28-34.
Hannah Bird was strong in the goals for Swifts, and Ashton Howard worked hard in the mid court.
Swifts A graders put in a big first half to be right in their clash. At one stage during the second quarter Swifts trailed the competition's top team, by just four goals.
Hard work around the court and top shooting allowed Swifts to be in the game, however the stronger Harrow Balmoral took over in the second half and ran out 65-25 winners.
Youngsters Tarnee Orr and Makyla Rowe had a taste of A grade netball and did well, when on the court.
Kaitlyn Ralph and Jade Cleary were the award winners.
Swifts struggled in the B grade clash and lost out 16-52. Isabella Robson (Llewats award) and Tayla Lembo were strong in defence.
In C grade Swifts were outclassed losing out 13-63. Award winners on the day were Renee Bullen (Sportspower) and Caitlin Holden.
