TAYLORS Gully Children's Centre extends an open invitation to all families and members of the community to call in and visit the centre.
The centrre is located at 87 D'Arcy Street, in Stawell.
Staff are proud to show people through their wonderful children's centre and introduce them to the qualified early childhood educators and maternal and child health nurses.
Taylors Gully Children's Centre provides long day options, maternal and child health services, and is the location for Northern Grampians Shire Council's immunisation sessions. They also offer a Three Year Old Program, Walk to School (a before-school care program) and supported playgroup.
In addition, families have access to visiting specialists and a baby capsule and car seat hire program, all under the same roof.
Taylors Gully has been assessed and rated under the National Quality Standards and we were proud to achieve 'Meeting National Quality Standards' as our overall rating and in 3.5 of the seven quality areas under the National Quality Framework, they received a rating of 'Exceeding National Quality Standards'.
The centre prides itself in providing a quality service that meets the needs of the children and families utilising the centre. They are committed to ensuring all children experience play-based learning that is engaging and builds success in life.
The goal of the centre is to provide each child with a positive, supportive, emotionally and physically safe environment. The education and care of the children entrusted to them is paramount.
The centre's vision is to work in partnership with families, educators, professionals and community members to enable children to achieve their learning potential. That is how they make a
positive difference in the lives of children.
Taylors Gully's educational program and curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
Nutritional meals prepared by the centre's cook are provided and carer for all children's dietary requirements. All nappies are also supplied.
