Due to the Stawell Secondary College gymnasium being temporarily set up for gymnastics, Grampians Junior Basketball will not return until August 19.

The group, which has experienced an exciting increase in numbers this season, aims to help develop basic fundamentals of basketball, such as shooting with the right technique and dribbling the basketball properly down the court.

Before holidays commenced the program had been developing well much to the delight of chairman Trevor Holmes.

Grampians Junior Basketball have four teams in the under 10 sections and are looking at increasing those numbers when they return.

When the gym is available sessions will be from 4-5.30pm on Tuesdays for the under 10 children and on Fridays from 4-5pm for under eights.

There is also interest in a women's competition and Under 12 competition for girls and boys. Registrations are always welcome and forms can be obtained online or from Stawell Sportspower.
