The gala awards night recognises winners from more than 70 clubs from across the state, who have achieved amazing weight loss results.

Stawell T.O.W.N. Club had some fantastic results, bringing home three major awards. The club won the Nancy Rogan Memorial Award for the club with the overall highest weight loss for the year. They also secured the runner up aggregate shield for individual weight loss per member and the Ararat Perpetual Trophy with a combined loss of 89.8 kilograms.

With summer just round the corner, now is the time to shed that winter weight. The message is clear, don't wait until summer has arrived.

Stawell T.O.W.N. Club has a weekly weigh-in meeting with exchange of ideas and encouraged weight loss by promotion of healthy eating and exercise, with support and recognition offered by those in attendance.

Stawell T.O.W.N. Club meets every Monday night from 5.30pm, with a day time group meeting on Wednesday morning at 9am at the Senior Citizens Centre in Victoria Street.

This is a low cost, relaxed and friendly group.
