The new machine is valued at more than $3,500.
The community organisation secured a grant of $2,860 under the Federal Government's Shed Development Program last year to purchase the new machine.
A primary supporter of the Men's Shed as part of its commitment to community health and wellbeing, Stawell Regional Health paid the balance for the machine.
In return for this donation, some Men's Shed members helped erect a fence for a small lawn bowls area at the new Community Rehabilitation Centre.
Men's Shed spokesperson, Terry Dunn said the new 'pan brake' machine allowed steel of up to two millimetres in thickness to be bent, creased and formed into box or pan shapes.
"The new machine will allow the shed's metal department to make things like trailer mud guards," Mr Dunn said.
"Numbers are really picking up at the Men's Shed at the moment and we're averaging around eight people per day at the workshop.
"They work on personal projects both big and small. At the moment some of the guys are building chicken boxes, restoring antique furniture and doing welding."
Mr Dunn said the Men's Shed was a place where men could socialise in a 'working environment' without the stress.
"They can do as little or as much work as they want," he said.
