Along with the icy frost that covers lawns and car windows, was a thick fog that blanketed Stawell for the early part of the morning.
The fog made visibility very difficult, particularly for early morning walkers and those heading to work early.
However, it wasn't long before the sun finally started to break through, seeing the fog lift and the icy frost disappear.
Stawell Times News photographer, Kerri Kingston, captured this photo of the sun as it started to break through the fog at 8am this morning. It wasn't long after that all the fog disappeared and visibility was back to normal throughout Stawell.
