- Stawell Secondary College students have been busy spreading the message about the importance of Red Nose Day.
Throughout the month of June, the college continued selling Red Nose Day merchandise to help raise money for SIDS and Kids.
SIDS and Kids is dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood and supporting bereaved families.
- Cato Lake in Stawell is among lakes across the region to be stocked with more fish for the school holidays.
The Nationals candidate for Ripon, Scott Turner, said beginner anglers and their families can catch a new hobby over the school holidays with about 30,000 catchable size rainbow trout stocked into inland waters across the state.
Mr Turner said more than 60 'Family Fishing Lakes' had shared in stockings of trout, including 300 rainbow trout into Cato Lake in Stawell.
