Stawell Quilters showcase specially crafted creation

The Stawell Quilters have taken possession of the quilt to be raffled as part of the Stawell Quilters Inc Show later this year.

Designed by Pauline Holden and made and hand quilted by the Stawell Quilters, 'Fantasy Garden', as it has been named, is valued at $2,760.

Special features of this year's show, to be held at the Stawell Town Hall on October 31, November 1 and November 2, include a range of quilts, merchant stalls and trading table with morning and afternoon tea available.

The Stawell Quilt Show will be open to the public between 10am and 5pm each day with entry just $5 for adults, school aged children enter for free.

Raffle tickets to go into the draw for the carefully crafted quilt creation will be on sale from Monday, August 4.

Tickets can be purchased either from members of the Stawell Quilters or at sale points at Woolworths and IGA. All proceeds from the quilt raffle will go directly to charity.

The Stawell and district community is encouraged to participate in the raffle and attend the event to ensure the Stawell Quilt Show is another success.
