Visitors are in for a real treat as the Stawell Farmers and Craft Market is conducted, along with a Car Boot Market.
Winter weather has arrived, so it is time to wrap up, brace the cold and make a trip to the Stawell Farmers/Craft Market to stock up on provisions for winter feasts.
Customers visiting the market can select from a huge range of products to make hearty and sustaining snacks, soups and family feasts. Now is the time when we can prepare wonderful meals to comfort our family and protect them from the winter ailments.
Steve Gliese will have vegetables, asparagus, pumpkins, potatoes and hand woven scarves, hats and gloves available.
There will also be Stanley's Honey, plus Deb's Country Kitchen, which will have a range of jam, sauces and chutney, slices and cakes for sale to treat yourself to a unique taste.
Kim and Terry of Patchwork Jungle will have an abundance of herbs, delicious patty cakes and fairy floss for the sweet tooth.
Come and taste Lana's Garden Rhubarb products, while also available will be oranges, potatoes, turkey, olive oil, fudge, apples, bread, plus other food varieties.
Ross and Lydia Jackson will be in attendance with their usual supply of oats, grains and hay, while Ann and Gwen of Tyme 4 Us will have their wide variety of plants for those garden lovers.
New stalls this month include Tania Walter Soup Mixes and two plant stalls with a wide range of roses, fruit trees and natives.
For the craft customers, there will be Carol Scarsi's jewellery, Shelley with Customised Buttons and Stampin Up Cards, plus a number of the regular stallholders who support the market from far and wide.
Come and see their beautiful craft work and purchase that special item.
The preloved car boot market gives residents an opportunity to clean out their cupboards and make a dollar or two. Stalls cost $10 for the car boot market.
During the morning enjoy a hamburger, sandwich, pancake, tea, coffee or a soft drink, with a chance to catch up with family and friends.
The Stawell Farmers/Craft Market is held at the agricultural buildings at the Stawell Harness Racing Ground, 78 Patrick Street, Stawell. The market runs from 9am to 1pm.
