-Northern Grampians Shire Council continues to seek clarification from the Environmental Effects Statement Panel over impacts the proposed Big Hill Enhanced Development Project may have on Stawell.
Council voted at a special meeting on Monday night in favour of adopting a briefing paper that had previously been presented on the project, as the basis of its submission to Planning Panels Victoria on the EES process.
-Only a couple of vacancies remain following the successful introduction of a three-year-old kindergarten program in Stawell that commenced in term two.
Taylors Gully Children's Centre has been running the program every Tuesday from 9am until 1pm in the multipurpose room.
-More than a shade of pink emerged from the dense and heavy fog that shrouded participants who took part in Stawell's inaugural Mother's Day Classic on Sunday.

The fundraising event will feature a number of classic cars, hot rods and other special vehicles and the convoy will spend the day travelling across the region with plenty of fun ensured.
After lunch in Pomonal the group will then head to Stawell for a stop at the Picker's Market.
