- Interested members of the community last night attended a Stawell Gold Mines Future Opportunities Information Session at the Stawell Town Hall.

The Centre of Excellence for Particle Research (CoEPP), Geoffrey Taylor spoke at the information session about whether the Stawell Gold Mine site is suitable to support the detection of dark matter.

- The 2014 Stawell Medical Centre Sprockets cycling team has once again completed the gruelling five hundred and twenty kilometre relay ride from Echuca to Port Fairy to raise funds for Stawell Regional Health.
