Children are again being asked to help with the collection and need to be at the Stawell Fire Station to register at 8.30am.
With support from the Stawell Football and Netball Club, the brigade will commence the collection around Stawell at 9am, with children and volunteers walking the streets of Stawell, accompanied by fire trucks, collecting for the appeal.
Stawell Brigade Captain Tim Hughes said he hoped people would donate some time or money when they see and hear the fire trucks in their area.
"I hope people get behind and give generously to this most worthy cause," he said.
"Last year we raised more than $30,000, which was a record."
The Stawell Fire Brigade is the authorised collecting agency for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Following the collection in Stawell, brigade members will travel to Lake Fyans and Halls Gap to accept donations.
Donations can also be phoned in on 5358 1829 or dropped into the Stawell Fire Station from 9am tomorrow.
