The Sprockets members are in training for the challenging 520 kilometre Murray to Moyne relay on the weekend of April 5 and 6.
This year there are nine riders participating, Ottis Francis, Terri Clarke, Mal Elliott, Naomi Altmann, Peter Wemyss Anthony Morey, David Tapscott, Darren Linke and ride coordinator, David Francis. The team members will be supported by volunteer drivers Geoff Illig and Somnath Sekaran.
The fundraising goal for this year is $10,000 with the proceeds raised going towards new intravenous infusion pumps at the Onology centre.
Stawell Regional Health is hopeful that if the target of $10,000 in fundraising can be reached, then three of the new IV infusion pumps can be purchased.
Members of the community wishing to make a donation to the Stawell Medical Centre Murray to Moyne Sprockets can do so via the mycause page at http://www.mycause.com.au/page/stawellsprockets or donations can be left at hospital reception.
