Australia Post has held the naming rights of the prestigious event since 1995 and will this year celebrate its 20th anniversary as the principal partner of the Stawell Gift.
Stawell Athletic Club president, Jeremy Irvine said the club was pleased to be partnering again with Australia Post this year.
"The Stawell Gift is steeped in rich history and Australia Post has played an integral part in shaping the event over the past two decades," Mr Irvine said.
"We are extremely appreciative to Australia Post and all our sponsors for their continued support and look forward to another successful Stawell Gift carnival in 2014."
Australia Post Managing Director and CEO, Ahmed Fahour said the Stawell Gift partnership is an example of Australia Post's ongoing commitment to investing in regional communities across Australia.
"This is a national elite event, of global significance, that takes place in an Australian regional community. Events such as the Stawell Gift help foster connection and community spirit, which is why we are pleased to be involved in the event.
"Investing in communities to help them become healthier, more vibrant and more inclusive is important to us and has been for more than 200 years."
Minister for Sport and Recreation, Hugh Delahunty said the renewal of Australia Post's sponsorship for 2014 was a significant milestone for the nation's most prestigious short distance footrace.
"The Stawell Gift is a highlight of the athletics calendar in Australia each year and brings a major international athletics event to Victoria," Minister Delahunty said.
"Without support from Australia Post, the Victorian Government and other sponsors, the event would not be what it is today.
"The Victorian Government has supported the Australia Post Stawell Gift since 2006 and is proud of the tourism and economic benefits it creates for Stawell, while also promoting active lifestyles and inspiring participation in athletics."
The Stawell Athletic Club is also thrilled to announce Asics and Northern Grampians Shire Council have re-signed as major sponsors of the Australia Post Stawell Gift for 2014.
