Council has replaced damaged and rotten weatherboards and handrails on the number one grandstand.
The exterior is now being re-painted by Stawell contractor Cassidy Painting.
The work is taking place under the guidance of architect and heritage consultant Wendy Jacobs and is set to be completed in time for the Stawell Gift.
Refurbishment works at Central Park are just one of several taking place across the town at the moment.
The Town Hall facelift and final flood recovery works at Cato Park have been undertaken so Stawell continues to look its best at Easter.
