Although guaranteed a finals spot in the top division Stawell Golf will now find it hard to move up into the double chance, second spot, but with a bit of luck anything is possible.
Golf are required to win the next two pennant games to secure a top two finish starting with Ararat VRI away.
Earlier in the season VRI had a narrow loss to Golf, but with more on the line maximum points will surely be in Golf's sights.
In Division two, Golf Gold have the chance to finish on top with current top side Stawell having a bye this week.
Gold play second placed Ararat Gold, and with only two points separating the top three sides, a win here will see the home team jump up into first place.
Golf Blue have a tough job ahead to make the finals and to have any chance they must take maximum points from their visit to Lake Bolac.
A good win here and relying on Gold to get the points against Ararat VRI, Blue will be in the top four.
There is plenty to play for this week for all three Stawell Golf teams, but most important is Golf Gold and Blue in Division two. Wins for both sides will see all Golf teams in the top four and a good chance for all three teams to be playing in the finals in a couple of weeks.
