Whether it was manning Relief Centres for displaced persons, providing personal support or food and water requirements, these services were greatly appreciated by all who received them.
This support would not have been possible without the support of the local community and businesses.
Red Cross would like to acknowledge and thank the local community and businesses and in particular Bank of Melbourne, McDonalds, The New Hong Kong Restaurant, Grampians Community Health, Neilly's Cafe and Safeway, who all so generously donated food and water to the relief centre.
They also thank Stawell Lions Club, Stawell SES and the CKS Swifts Football Club for their help while Red Cross provided catering support at the staging ground.
Support was also provided by many individuals and the generosity and support was awe inspiring.
