This year's colours are hot pink and black with visitors encouraged to join the musicians in sporting the distinguishable colours.
On top of the smell of barbecue in the air, trumpets blaring and laughter that already ensures a great time is had by all, this year there will be more bands, an extra venue and the "Atmosphere Event" bar.
Enjoy the ambience, relive the memories, and catch up with those who have made the Grampians Jazz Festival such a success, along with an abundance of jazz to suit all tastes and ages.
A full weekend of entertainment is planned over the next three days, at various venues in the township of Halls Gap.
Grampians Road in the town centre will be closed over the weekend to all traffic from 8.00pm tonight until 6.30pm Sunday.
The unique Grampians Jazz Festival began in 1986 at Roses Gap as a 21st birthday party and continues to grow.
The reunion of musicians and their friends who got together, now results in more than 130 programmed bands playing.
Registration for the event continues at the Halls Gap Centenary Hall from 12 noon today.
The cost of attendance varies with a weekend badge (entry to all sessions and venues) - $65 adult and $10 under 18 years.
An all day Saturday pass - $40 adult and $5 under 18 years. Individual single session tickets are also available.
All badge event venues offer disabled access with seating provided and there will be air conditioning in all venues except erected marquees.
