Young family friends Zoe, Max and George took the time to ride their bikes along the path by Stony Creek on a mild day while their parents held the fought back at their camp site.
Tina Kallianis and Bruce Hughes from Pascoe Vale south were just a couple of the people that made up the large group of family friends.
Mr Hughes said it was the first time in a long time he had been to Halls Gap with one of the positives for him being that the charm and beauty of the place remained intact with little change since his last visit.
Mrs Kallianis said the families chose the location because of the range of activities it offers.
The parents and their children visited scenic locations including McKenzie Falls and Mount William and completed short walks including Venus Baths and the more lengthy Balconies and the Pinnacle.
The group also went off road four-wheel driving.
