Tom Hawkins fans of all ages came out of the woodwork for a guest appearance by the Geelong Football Club player at Stawell McDonald's.
The two time premiership player spent 90 minutes in store signing autographs, cards, jumpers and even one young die hard fan's Ipad.
He also discussed the football club's form and preparation ahead of next season with the supporters that numbered between 200 and 250.
"We always love visiting the regional areas of Victoria, the people are just so passionate about their footy and sport," he said.
"Stawell has such a proud sporting history, it was great to visit the town and see the passion for myself. It was great to see the people of Stawell turn up in such large numbers."
The visit was part of the McDonald's The Mac Pack program that encourages involvement of children from football clubs in junior sport.
As part of the guest appearance McDonald's offered one lucky young sportsperson the chance to take home a Mac Pack jumper signed by Hawkins.
The Mac Pack is McDonald's sporting hub for kids featuring some of the champions of Australian sport.
The Mac Pack is all about encouraging kids to have a go and join in the fun of sport. It forms part of McDonald's focus on activities that improve the health and wellbeing of Australian children.
